Majlis rental

A condolence majlis usually runs in a U shape or in parallel rows along the walls to hold a large steady flow of visitors. A diwaniya layout is circular or near-circular to keep conversation moving among those seated. Tell us the occasion type and we arrange accordingly.

Individual pieces fill a gap but do not make a majlis. A full majlis is a complete layout: floor seating along the walls, backrests at the right angle, a rug that ties the room together, and small tables within reach. The difference is clear to every guest who walks in.

Yes, and an outdoor courtyard sometimes holds a floor seating layout that would not fit inside. What matters is the floor surface, tile or open ground, and which direction the wind comes from, so we can arrange the pieces to shelter guests and keep the backrests in place.

Yes. A rectangular room places floor seating along the two long sides and closes with a short wall at the head. A square room allows seating on all four walls. In both cases the backrests stay close to the wall so they support the back without narrowing the central aisle.

The core pieces, floor seating, backrests, a rug and small tables, do not change between seasons. What may change is the need for a thicker rug under the seating in winter if the floor is cold, and that is something we consider when you tell us your occasion date and venue type.
