Setting up your occasion in Al Haddar
Occasions in a village like Al Haddar take place on open ground and in spacious areas, and the hand-woven zal becomes the centre of the gathering and gives it authentic heritage character. The bright colours and traditional patterns in the zal reflect Bedouin and Najdi character, and cushions and backrests provide comfort for those seated around it. The size of the zal and number of cushions depend on available ground space and guest count, and a photo of the venue helps us plan the distribution that suits the open space.
Al Haddar is a village in the Riyadh region near Al Badi`, and villages in the region are characterised by spacious open ground.
Open ground allows laying a larger zal and freely distributing cushions and backrests, but wind and ground surface affect stability and securing.

FAQ
Questions about zal (traditional carpet) rental in Al Haddar
Yes, the zal is laid on open ground and gives the occasion authentic Bedouin heritage character. Its size depends on ground space, guest count and seating needed. Send us a photo of the venue and we suggest the right size and arrangement.
Protecting the zal and cushions from wind and dust depends on the venue nature and weather. Tell us the occasion location, date and expected conditions and we discuss suitable arrangements for securing the zal and preserving the cushions based on the ground and available space.
A plain carpet covers the floor. A zal gives the sitting area its visual identity with woven patterns and defines its edges on the ground. Laying a zal is what turns an empty corner into an authentic majlis, regardless of anything else in the room.
A zal can be laid in flat courtyards and outdoor spaces, but soft or uneven ground makes floor sitting uncomfortable for any floor setup. Send us a photo and tell us the surface type, and we agree the best way to lay it.
Start by counting your guests and deciding which sides they will sit on, then allow space behind the backrests for movement. Tell us the rough dimensions of the space and your guest count, and we help you work out what suits the gathering.
