Evaporative cooler rental for occasions
Dry heat needs water and airflow, not a central air unit
Your guests are on their way and the sun has not set yet, and the courtyard or tent is holding the day's heat. An evaporative cooler draws in hot, dry air and passes it over water-soaked pads, so the air that comes out is several degrees cooler. That is exactly what makes it suited to the dry heat, and to open or semi-open spaces where air can move.
An evaporative cooler needs two things: water to fill its tank or connect to a pipe, and power to run the motor and pump. You decide the rough size of the space and whether it is open, shaded or a tent; we deliver the evaporative coolers to your venue and place them where the cooled air reaches the seating.

FAQ
Questions about evaporative cooler rental
Yes, in hot dry air as has in summer. An evaporative cooler works best when fresh air moves around it, meaning an open space or a tent with some open sides. In a fully closed room, humidity rises quickly and the cooling effect drops.
It depends on the tent area, the number of guests and how open the sides are. A large tent with mostly closed sides needs more units than one with open sides. Tell us the rough tent dimensions and the guest count, and we work out the right number with you.
Not always. Many units have a tank that you fill from a nearby water source and refill during the event. A direct pipe connection is easier for longer occasions. Tell us what water and power you have at your venue and we agree on how to run the units.
Yes, that is how it works: a light water vapour is added to the air. In normally dry air, that rise in humidity usually feels comfortable rather than heavy. The problem only appears when the surrounding air is already humid, or the space is fully closed with no air exchange.
A misting fan sprays fine water droplets into the air and cools whoever stands in front of it directly. An evaporative cooler draws air inside, passes it over wet pads and pushes out genuinely cooler air, so its effect across a wide space is deeper and more sustained.
An open home courtyard with one or more open sides is a very good fit for an evaporative cooler, especially on summer evenings when the temperature drops a little and the air stays dry. Placing it on the side where air enters means the cooled flow reaches the centre of the seating, not just the edges.
